Not the first time we have eaten here and this visit confirmed our high opinion of this excellent restaurant in an out-of-the-way small village. Firstly the restaurant La Grange (the barn) is in a building that was probably a barn but it cosy, well laid out and has an inviting feel to it. Tables are well placed. It has a cosy feel. Not a lot of customers at this visit but Madame and Monsieur were welcoming and attentive throughout the evening. Excellent menu -ample of choice, including vegetarian - and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. The veloute de butternut received high praise. Perhaps our only quibble is that the panna cotta dessert is enough for two. Neither of us could get through a plate each. Highly recommended.

The servers were attentive, pleasant and friendly.
Really enjoyed an impromptu Sunday lunch here. Such great atmosphere. Food is wonderful, service is friendly and helpful.

This place has a great vibe, as you walk in through the arch the style of the buildings, tables etc is excellent making this feel a fun place to be while also being really nicely done. The food was excellent and Family friendly if a little more expensive than typical places locally. We went on a Friday night with a band due to play later. Its nicely done though so the band starts pretty late so as not to impact your ability to talk while having your meal. Very impressed and would definitely go back.
Food was nice and nice location but when I asked for extra olives I was told point blank no and I also had my bread taken away which was a shame really , not sure why but Iâve never been in a restaurant anywhere in the world where this has happened.

Amazing place. Wonderful decor. The food is amazing and at a very good price . I met the owners . They really are wonderful and friendly people. Truely worth many return visits.
Not the most exciting place to eat despite being by the canal. Lunch of fresh mussels was spoilt by swarms of flies & wasps all around the food. Totally off putting & spoilt the experience.
It's quite good, friends go there because they can eat veggie, a difficult task at times down here in wild boar hunting country.
Took duck assiette. Was good, plenty of duck and there were a sprinkling of veggies, unusual in French restaurants around here where I actually received half a carrot, half an asparagus shoot and a potato as veg. Ahhhh!
